SR. MANAGER – SALES (MAKE MY TRIP)

Job Description:
  • Ensure the sales team delivers on agreed upon targets for Sales Revenue, Gross margin and other key metrics on an ongoing basis
  • Effective engagement with the client SPOC thru pro-active communication, regular review meetings and sharing of challenges in attaining the targets
  • Lead, motivate and assist a team of Managers/Supervisors/Team Leaders/ Sales Executives to deliver individual sales goals as well as for the Sales LOBs
  • Mater product and product knowledge required to deliver our sales efforts.
  • Provide regular and critical inputs to the client about trends, challenges and opportunities in different channels so that the client can better its own sales strategy
  • Manage the day–to-day planning, operation and problem-solving of the LOBs to meet with the required SLAs as per the SOW
  • Coordinate with the WFM & HR in regards to resource management, attrition and arranging for backfills on a timely basis
  • Ensure pro-active communication with all the stakeholders and consistently meet deadlines

  • Present weekly/monthly performance to the Client and Internal stakeholders
  • Analyze internal reports to identify and address the challenges with team’s performance
  • Prepare Monthly and Quarterly Business review (QBRs) for the client and present the same
  • Train, coach and motivate team members, Team Leaders, Supervisors
  • Create an environment that motivates high performance and supports the loyalty and retention of our employees
  • Conduct regular meetings to provide the feedback and gauge the pulse of the team
  • Manage conflict resolution among the team
Competency Requirements:
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Client communication, preparing for monthly and quarterly reviews
  • Flexible to work till the late evening hours
  • 6 weekly offs in a month

Work Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience in a people management role in a BPO/Travel Industry managing a sales process

Job Qualification: Graduate
